About (Me)

Let’s see:

I’m retired from the United States Navy (20 Years).  My job in the navy was as a Submarine Sonar Technician (Jonesy from “The Hunt for Red October”.  As such, I have a background in Troubleshooting both Electrical & Electronic equipment.

During my career, I was stationed onboard the USS Sea Devil (SSN 664), USS Bremerton (SSN 698), and USS Key West (SSN 722).  All are (or were) Fast Attack Nuclear Submarines.

Places I’ve been include (in no particular order):  Nova Scotia, Jamaca, Portugal, England, Scotland, Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Australia, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Okinaiwa, Gibralter, and Diego Garcia.  I’m a Shellback, Bluenose, Order of Magellian and the Order of the Golden Dragon.  I’ve even been at (and under) the North Pole.  [NOTE:  I haven't been everywhere in any specific country.  Just specific ports, but can't remember them all]

My final 3 years, I was stationed at the Naval & Marine Corps Reserve Center in Greenville, SC.  I was responsible for the Mobilization of Selected Reserve Personnel, as well as being the Training Officer, and the WAN system Administrator.  This is where I became involved with computers & networking.

My PDA collection started during the last few years I was in the navy.  I’ve had a couple of Sharp Wizards, followed by an Audiovox Maestro, Toshiba E755, Dell Axim X51V, Cingular 3125(HTC StarTrek), and finally my AT&T Tilt (HTC TYTN II)

I am married, with two children.  Both boys (1 out, working on the second).

I have 2 dogs.  An Austrailian Sheperd Mix, and a Lab Chow mix.  I’ve dabbled with Tropical Fish (Puffers are COOL), Hamsters, Gerbils, Lizards, and Cockatiels.  But NO SPIDERS.  DEATH TO ARACHNIDS!!!!!!

I am currently employed as a desk agent in a hotel chain which I will NOT mention.

Might add to this later.  Any questions, feel free to ask.
